Marcelo is an easygoing cowboy on a Brazilian cattle farm who lives for one passion above all others: rodeos. After a tragic incident at the farm, Marcelo quits his job and falls into a deep depression. But little by little, he gradually overcomes his trauma and soon feels ready to dream again.
Querência is a poignant portrayal of rural Brazil, a region that has long been misrepresented, marginalised and ignored, and of one man’s melancholy struggle to rebuild his broken life within the only land he’s ever known.
