Morale Patch is an exhibition of new work by Tanoa Sasraku (b. 1995, Plymouth) examining the seductive and destructive power of oil – its ties to war and national identity – through a meditation on emblems and mementos.

In a special offer to ICA Members, Exhibition Curator Andrea Nitsche-Krupp leads a behind-the-scenes curatorial tour of Morale Patch, a new commision from Tanoa Sasraku.

From ancestral memory to digital desire, from queer ecologies to fragile landscapes, ten artists’ films explore resistance, love and transformation in the present tense. 

To accompany her new solo exhibition Morale Patch, artist Tanoa Sasraku presents four film works that connect with and expand on the show's central themes.
