Last Rescue in Siam (สาวน้อยผจญภัย), Empower, Thailand 2012, 11 min.

Decriminalised Futures presents a screening of international sex worker-made films from Brazil, Thailand and Germany. The three films all respond to their respective political and social struggles with irreverence and dark humour.

A cartoonish film inspired by black-and-white silent movies which unpacks the difficulties encountered by sex workers in Thailand, in particular abusive anti-trafficking raids.
Empower was established in 1984 in Thailand to offer community education and lobby the government for better sex work laws and labour rights. In 2006, they opened a sex worker run bar to successfully demonstrate the working conditions they demanded.
