Inside Out
Institute of Contemporary Arts

Inside Out, Sarah Roselle Khan, UK 2020, 3 min. 18 sec.

Inside Out combines archival footage of everyday British-Pakistani culture with text, scenes filmed in the UK and an original score. The work reflects on the sense of alienation that can come with navigating a cross-cultural existence, drawing on the artist’s own experience of growing up from a mixed-heritage, working-class British-Muslim family.
