Joanne Robertson is a musician, painter and poet. Joanne collaborates regularly with her friends, most recently with Dean Blunt on Backstage Raver, and Sidsel Meineche Hansen on Alien Baby. She moved to Glasgow in 2018, after having lived in London. Her painting and music both form from improvisatory moments of expression. Her last solo record Blue Car, is a collection of songs from her archive of unreleased solo recordings, similar to ‘Painting Stupid Girls’, these tracks attempt to record the moment, and where she was at emotionally that day, similar to diary entries. The dates she wrote these songs is unknown, they span roughly a ten year period.
Raisa K, aka Raisa Khan, is a songwriter, producer and musician based in London. Following the release of her sophomore album with her band Good Sad Happy Bad, Raisa recently released her debut solo album Affectionately, via the Copenhagen-based label, 15 love (home to ML Buch and Jordan Playfair).
Affectionately is almost entirely produced on Raisa’s laptop and written in her home in London, as well as finding small pockets of time on trains and buses, during breaks at work, during the kids' nap-times, at the playground, in the park.
