BOOK LAUNCH: Letter To My Little Trans Self
Institute of Contemporary Arts

Book tickets

Join us for the world launch of hotpencil press's latest publication, Letter to My Little Trans Self, a collection of letters written by the trans and non-binary community to their younger selves. Taking place during Trans Pride season, you will have the opportunity to hear extracts from the collection live and meet some of the writers. Copies of the book will also be available to buy.

In 2024, Serge Nicholson and Libro Levi Bridgeman from hotpencil Press invited 30 members of the trans and non-binary communities to write letters to their former selves. Collected together for the first time, these letters are witty, moving, humble, scary and joyful. This pocket-sized publication will give you courage and will fit inside your handbag or jacket.

Trans community ticket prices are available to purchase.

You are also welcome to join us from 8:30pm for a free book signing and celebration in the ICA bar.
