The Feeling that The Time for Doing Something Has Passed, dir. Joanna Arnow, US 2023, 87 mins
Book tickets

Filmmaker Joanna Arnow’s hilarious comedy and narrative feature debut follows Ann, a 30-something woman living in New York. Juggling her long-term casual BDSM relationship, lackluster low-level corporate job, and difficult New Yorker parents, Ann explores different kinds of relationships as she figures out what she wants in life and how to get it. An honest and empowering journey of self-discovery, Arnow explores the humour in vulnerability and nimbly pinpoints the subjectivity of identity, intimacy, and time.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker.
