London Palestine Film Festival 2026
Institute of Contemporary Arts
14 – 25 November 2026

The annual festival’s 2026 edition brings together some of this year’s most compelling new films, from UK premieres and Oscar-nominated titles to archival footage and retrospective screenings, creating a vital space to showcase the richness of Palestinian life through lived experience and everyday realities.

LPFF presents the UK Premiere of Who Killed Alex Odeh?, which revisits the unsolved murder of the Palestinian-American teacher and community leader, tracing the networks and institutional failures surrounding a political assassination. Partition and The Flowers Stand Silently, Witnessing return to images of Palestine’s past to question who gets to tell its stories, while Revolutionaries Never Die is Mohanad Yaqubi’s homage to an independent Arab woman filmmaker who, working at a turbulent time, dedicated her life to documenting places and people who no longer exist.

Life Support offers an urgent record from inside Gaza’s overwhelmed hospitals, bringing together the testimony of international medics and local footage to document the human consequences of the ongoing genocide. The programme concludes with a double bill exploring Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Pierre Gorin’s unfinished film about the Palestinian resistance, asking how revolutionary images are made, circulated and re-examined, and who has the right and responsibility to represent political struggle.

Partition + The Flowers Stand Silently, Witnessing + ScreenTalk
This double bill returns to archival images of Palestine to ask how colonial histories are recorded, remembered and reclaimed. Revolutionaries Never Die + ScreenTalk
In 2018, veteran Lebanese filmmaker Jocelyne Saab invited filmmaker and archivist Mohanad Yaqubi to collaborate. She died two months later, having never received an answer, leaving the request as a final, open question. Revolutionaries Never Die is Yaqubi’s cinematic answer, imagining what their conversation might have been.

Wednesday 25 November, 8.30pm
Here and Else Where + Godard in America + ScreenTalk
This double bill brings together two films made around Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Pierre Gorin’s unfinished project Until Victory, tracing its journey from the Palestinian resistance to American university campuses and, later, Godard and Anne-Marie Miéville’s critical return to the material. Together, the films explore the possibilities and contradictions of revolutionary filmmaking, while reflecting on how images of political struggle are made, circulated and re-examined across time and place.
