Image: John T. Gast / Charlie Hope

An immersive sound and light event by John T. Gast and Charlie Hope. DJ sets by An1ma and Lauren Duffus in the ICA Bar.
Over the years, John T. Gast’s experimentation and output has been distributed through numerous releases; documented under various aliases including Gossiwor 2 and Young Druid. Focused on the visceral physicality of sound and its capacities to engulf, subvert and expand, Gast’s projects include collaborations with Serafina Steer and Aase Nielsen, Copeland & Gast (with Lolina) and DO U WANT TO MOVE BACK TO LONDON (with Curtly Thomas). Recent productions orientate around the self-run label 5 GATE TEMPLE, which serves as a beacon in the fog for sounds akin.

Charlie Hope is a visual artist using light, space, video and coding to build sensorial images across performance, installation and video. Creating multi textured environments often working collaboratively in a range of contexts from galleries, clubs, theatre and film. He has recently shown work at Fold, London, HetHEM Amsterdam, Nottingham Contemporary, Atonal Berlin, Tate/NTS London, ICA London, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Ormside Projects London and was a co-founder of performance collective London Topophobia.
