Anthropology student Sofia accompanies her mother, Rose, to a sun-drenched Spanish coastal town in search of answers from an unconventional doctor who might cure Rose’s mysterious paralysis. Their relationship—marked by tension, dependency, and emotional wounds—is tested further during the trip.
