Through a Shimmering Prism, We Made a Way, dir. Rhea Storr, UK 2021.

Join us for an evening of films and discussion highlighting the analogue camerawork of an exceptional group of intergenerational, intersectional women artists and cinematographas. Screened on 16mm, 35mm and digital formats, the films in this programme span multiple histories and creative practices, highlighting the technical and creative prowess of the women interviewed in Margaret Salmon’s new book, Cinematagrapha, published by Secession and Walther und Franz König in 2023.

Curated by Margaret Salmon.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with Rhea Storr and Margaret Salmon.
