Jamal (a superb Jonathan Jules) hears voices. Not those in the music tracks he yearns to create, but as result of his schizophrenia – a volatile condition that he, his family and the care system struggle to manage. BAFTA-nominated director Billy Lumby’s film is a vivid, intimate portrait of a troubled young man and a system under pressure.
Content Warning: contains scenes of domestic violence or abuse and drug use, themes of self harm and suicide, flashing images.
