The discovery of his family’s archive opens conversations long left unspoken, which Seeger, who is of Palestinian and Jewish descent, records on the same analogue medium. Weaving archival and newly shot Super 8 footage into a layered temporal tapestry, Seeger allows past and present to dissolve into a shared present. The result is a complex transnational family story that poignantly navigates displacement, inherited trauma and political solidarity.
