Estranged brothers reunite in a remote cabin, forced to confront their fractured past and the lasting effects of the trauma they carry. Marking the return to film of Daniel Day-Lewis, who also co-wrote the screenplay, Anemone delivers powerful performances from Sean Bean, Samantha Morton, and newcomer Samuel Bottomley. Ronan Day-Lewis’ striking directorial debut is a poignant meditation on the complex bonds between fathers, sons, and brothers.
