Two years ago Iranian-American Zohreh Shayesteh travelled to Abianeh, an ancient village in her homeland Iran. She unexpectedly strikes up a friendship with Keshvar, a blunt and feisty old woman who becomes her confidante and the film's protagonist. What was to be a historical documentary about a village and its people ends up a personal journey for the film-maker herself.
