Roshell and Liliana run Casa Roshell, a transgender club in Mexico City. A small room with a stage receives their guests with intimacy, among performances, workshops and lip syncing. Conversations turn existential when the guests discuss their dreams, desires, identities and realities.
Director Camila José Donoso immersed herself in this niche club world to create this powerful film, mixing digital, 16mm film and television footage.
