Previously at the ICA - Events
27 Jul 2007
The ICA's late night lounge brings a Mumbai buzz to the Mall. Hosted and curated by broadcaster, DJ and music consultant Nick Luscombe the evening will feature music, performance, visuals and installation to create a vibrant 360º sense of what's hot in that city.
This vibrant evening features Cornershop, playing their favourite records from or inspired by India as well as eclectic sets from DJ Nerm (Shiva Soundsystem) and Fari Bradley, joined on sitar by Clem Alford for a rhapsody in tribute to Freddy Mercury. Plus a dynamic performance from Infinite Scale following their successful summer tour and slot at this year's Glastonbury.
A specially curated visual programme will feature exclusive excerpts from ICA Films' release I forIndia as well as a compilation of blood-curdling, super-scary scenes from our forthcoming season, Bolly Horror.
Indian head massages, henna tattoos and other special events to be announced nearer the time.
