As part of fig–2, Deborah Coughlin, Michael Shaw and a 22-piece all-girl choir Gaggle present Echo, Echo, Echo with special guests.
Echo, Echo, Echo is an experimental, multi–layered piece of recorded improvisation made of from the voices of Gaggle women past and present, live instruments and our recording of the opening night of Yap! Yap! Yap!. Michael Shaw will record the piece live on experimental, recycled and modified hardware as part of this 20 minute performance.
Devised and Launched by Deborah Coughlin Gaggle are a radical musical performance group whose output includes pop music, Guerrilla shows, and pop-up shops, Opera, Immersive Theatre and Comedy.
Michael Shaw's interdisciplinary and experimental practice occupies the spectrum between found object assemblage and noise music.
