The 'problem' of decoration and ornamentation in contemporary art is a rich one that touches on craft, elitism and the 'purpose' of art. Pablo Bronstein: Sketches for Regency Living points to and comments on notions of decoration in architecture and he has written and commented extensively on the uses of ornament in post-modernist buildings.
To discuss notions of ornament and decoration in both art and architecture we are joined by Glenn Adamson craft theorist, historian and curator at the V&A, the artist Grayson Perry, the architect Sam Jacob from FAT and Charles Jencks, architectural theorist and landscape architect often described as the father of post-modern architecture.
