TWTW's self-titled debut, from Field Music's Peter Brewis and his Sunderland compatriots, has been causing a critical whir. Tonight, for the first time, the band will play the album from start to finish with strings, marimba and visuals manipulated from the stage by the band themselves. Conceptually it is an imagined crime thriller dreamt up by Peter and inspired by Paul Auster's labyrinthine storytelling, with music paying direct homage to the wildly ambitious Linn Drum and Fairlight experiments of Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel and Tin Drum-era Japan.
And that's not all, there's exciting support in the shape of post rock's new treasures The SJVs and Young Turks' latest treats The XX in the middle slot.
