They're back with a new album, The Boy with No Name, that proves them to be as melodic and as capable of writing a catchy tune as they were in their first, late-90s heyday, but Travis also have a new attitude. They've survived the usual mid-pop-life crises (including life-threatening injuries, painful introspection, writing songs about war and having babies), and now Scotland's best-loved grown-up rockers, the band who were Coldplay before Coldplay, are bringing their sweet acoustic sounds to the ICA. The Hoosiers warm us up with their eccentric indie charms.
