Perhaps best known in Britain for their song Magic Arrow which featured in the television show Breaking Bad, Timber Timbre's sound has been described as beautifully restrained blues from an alternate universe, serving up an atmosphere that is both cinematic and spooky. A Canadian folk music project the band’s moniker refers to an early series of recordings they made in an Ontario timber-framed cabin. After three virtually independent released albums Timber Timbre signed to Arts & Crafts, who re-released the eponymous third effort to much acclaim in 2009. Fast forward to 2011, and with fourth LP Creepin’ On, Creeping ‘On due in April, we find the band on tour and dropping in on the ICA with their swampy, ragged blues.
