In this heart-wrenching and fantastical tale, young Muidinga is desperate to find the family he lost while his country, Mozambique, was in civil war. He finds a diary that recounts the story of a woman on a ship who is searching for her son. Muidinga, convinced that he is her son, decides to find her with the help of wise guardian Tuahir.
