Artists' Film Club

11 Jul 201230 Dec 2018

The Artists’ Film Club programme of screenings and events features new and rarely seen works by emerging and established artists.

Fostering dialogues between artists and audiences, Artists’ Film Club enables discussion and debate around recent moving image practice, with many of the programme artists giving presentations and Q&As.

In 2014 we launched a new UK-wide Artists' Moving Image Network, linking contemporary art venues with our Artists’ Film Club programme and focusing on artist profiles, thematic group and long-form screenings.

In 2016 this nation-wide programme was rebranded as Art & Screen: you can learn more about the 2016 Art & Screen Programme here.

Both visually enticing and subtly complex in its narrowing of artistic and generational hierarchies, this UK premiere of Madison's 'das blut, im fruchtfleicsch gerinnend beim birnenbiss' is followed by a conversation on collaborative approaches to filmmaking.
