Playworks - Woodland Hide-Out

14 Aug 2010

Together with architectural designer Erin Byrne, children will respond to Oscar Tuazon’s work during this playful and exciting workshop.

Participants will be building temporary shelters in the Main Gallery inspired by Oscar Tuazon’s ‘Kodiak’ Project in Seattle Art Museum, where he and his brother built a makeshift cabin in the woods. Using our imaginations and ad-hoc construction methods, we will transform Tuazon’s structure into a ‘woodland hide-out’ for one day only. Between 2 -3pm, the creations will stay in place so children and adults can continue to play and explore the structure.
