Nordic Factory is a forum for collaboration between young filmmakers. Working with 8 directors the project has produced 4 short films, each one influenced by the coming together of different cultures and cinematic styles.
Sundays (Kræsten Kusk/Denmark and Natalia Garagiola/Argentina) explores a modern day father/daughter relationship. Listen (Hamy Ramezan/Finland and Rungano Nyoni/Zambia) tells of the moral battle facing a police translator living in Copenhagen. Void (Milad Alami/Denmark and Aygul Bakanova/Kyrgyzstan) is the story of one man Daniel's personal search and The Girl and the Dogs (Selma Vilhunen/Finland and Guillaume Mainguet/France) is a coming-of-age tale about three teenage friends and an event that is to ultimately shape their friendships. Featuring Lars Mikkelsen (Borgen), Signe Egholm Olsen (Borgen) and Dar Salim (The Killing, Borgen, A Hijacking).
