LSFF: Opening Night: Long Live The New Flesh!

6 Jan 2017

LSFF team up with Moog Sound Lab UK to host a live performance from Fay Milton and Ayse Hassan (Savages) and joined by London producer and modular synth genius Martin Dubka (Circle Sky) to experiment with analogue sound-scaping, synthesis and effects.

16mm visual projections by David Leister (Kino Club) and Bea Haut (Analogue Recurring), supplying multiple loops, archive film, and experimental imagery on various screens and surfaces throughout the venue.

  • Moog Sound Lab UK

Moog Sound Lab UK gives musicians the chance to experiment with a whole roomful of vintage Moog equipment, which was originally introduced by Dr Robert Moog in 1964. Countless artists in the decades since have used Moogs or Moog-inspired sounds as a central part of their music, and tonight’s live performance will be an analogue synth lovers dream.

Festival in Utrecht, The Netherlands, and created side projects such as Kite Base featuring bassist Ayse Hassan.

  • Martin Dubka
