Featuring Louis Eliot & The Embers, Ruarri Joseph and many more
Following the success of this year's event, London's annual St. Piran's Day event, Kernow In The City, returns to the ICA in 2011 for another celebration of Cornish music and art on Cornwall's national day.
Headliners Louis Eliot & The Embers bring their joyous rural sound and rip-roaring songs to the big smoke with support from acclaimed Cornish singer Ruarri Joseph, mediaeval minstrels Princes In The Tower and female morris-dancers Belles Of London City performing a specially-commissioned piece about the Cornish Rebellion of 1497, hotly-tipped math-rockers Gunning For Tamar, the sensual pysch-folk of Minko and raucous riffmeisters Peter Parker's Rock 'n' Roll Club. Plus young Cornish folksters Crowns will be performing their rousing singalong anthems.
DJs in the bar until late.
