Eat Your Own Ears presents Kate Nash + support.
All Ages Welcome.
If it wasn't for the film Brokeback Mountain and a broken foot, 19 year old Nash might not have graced our ears. Having created such lyrics as 'Birds can fly so high, or they can sh*t on your head' in her latest single (and Guardian pick of the week) 'Birds', we can only thank her months in plaster and the purchase of a guitar to ebb the boredom... oh and those stairs in the cinema. Coming from two sold out performances in Brighton and London, Nash has also graced open mic nights, spoken word evenings in the east end and having her first headline gig at underground night Potty Mouth. You could call her brave but most people favour 'fresh, honest and experimental' (Vogue) and deserving 'all the gunfinger salutes in the world' (Dazed) which is kind of more interesting. The ICA is thrilled to provide you with the sounds from the most excitingly anticipated girl around.
