Actress Sandrine Bonnaire makes an intelligent and moving directorial debut in this documentary about her younger sister, Sabine, whose autism-related behavioural difficulties went undiagnosed for the better part of three decades. Winner of the Fipresci award at Cannes 2007, this is a powerful statement about the limits of love in the face of chronic debilitating illness.
Presented in partnership with the Institut Français.
