**** "A film-maker of promise" - Evening Standard

"Dummy looks gorgeous... The mixture of the macabre and the whimsical has produced a work that withstands comparison to David Mackenzie's Hallam Foe." Observer Film Quarterly

This coming-of-age drama is a striking debut from Matthew Thompson. With their father long gone, 18-year-old Danny and his younger brother Jack are given permission to look after themselves by their social worker after their mother's sudden death. Three great young actors are at the heart of this tale - Emma Catherwood as Zoe, newcomer Thomas Grant as Jack, and Aaron Johnson (soon to be seen as John Lennon in Sam Taylor-Wood's Nowhere Boy) as Danny.

The screening on 24 June will be followed by a Q&A with director Matthew Thompson, writer Michael Meuller, lead actor Thomas Grant and producer Miranda Richardson.
