Based on Truman Capote's famous book of the same title, In Cold Blood follows the true story of two ex-convicts as they break into the Kansas home of the Clutter family and brutally murder all four family members, before going on the run and being hunted down by police.

Through flashbacks and with stunning black-and-white camerawork by Conrad Hall, the film offers a riveting investigation of the crime and the chain of events that followed, as well as delving into the troubled psychologies of the men behind it.

In Cold Blood, dir. Richard Brooks, USA 1967, 135 mins.
