Writer-director Shonali Bose’s debut is both a hard-hitting drama and a riveting thriller about a young woman who attempts to uncover the suppressed history of the 1984 genocide in Delhi. The film was cut by the Indian Censor Board to remove mentions of governmental complicity.
There will be a Q&A with the director Shonali Bose after the screening hosted by Ramesh Gopalakrishnan of Amnesty South Asia.
