£160 (ICA Members £120)
ICA is pleased to present this limited edition by Scott King, to accompany the ICA Off-Site exhibition A Journey Through London Subculture: 1980s to Now (13 September – 3 November 2013, Old Selfridges Hotel, London).
Scott King's work frequently addresses iconic and 'monumental' imagery; with the artist often producing prints and sculptures that refer to and question political ideologies. Presented as part of the exhibition, King's new work Nelson's exists as a billboard and a special limited edition of prints. His second recent piece to address Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square, King's work radically redesigns the famous monument by removing the statue's column.
Born in 1969, Scott King is a graphic designer who lives and works in London. He is a graphic designer who worked as art director of i-D magazine and creative director of Sleazenation magazine. King is currently Professor of Visual Communication at University of the Arts, London.
