Portuguese filmmaker Susana Nobre’s debut feature patiently examines a young couple after the birth of their first child. As the gentle rhythm of daily life unfolds – dictated by the needs of their newborn daughter – the couple reflect on parenthood to one other and their extended circle of friends, forming a narrative that includes a spectrum of perspectives on family.
