Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound captures the history and creative process of this often-overlooked art form through film clips, verité footage, and interviews with sound design pioneers.

Featuring key players in sound design including multi-Oscar Award winners Walter Murch (Apocalypse Now), Ben Burtt (Star Wars) and Gary Rydstrom (Saving Private Ryan) alongside directors Sofia Coppola, Ang Lee, George Lucas, David Lynch, Christopher Nolan and Steven Spielberg, among others.
