Bookstore Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative, proactive and commercially-minded individual to lead on the presentation and offer of the Institute of Contemporary Arts Bookstore. From contemporary culture, philosophy, feminism, art theory and writing, to radical politics, sound and cinema, our Bookstore is renowned among art practitioners, curators, theorists, students, cinephiles and art lovers across the world.  

Your role would be to oversee the stock selection and the running of the ICA Bookstore, to manage and train the team, to implement a creative and effective commercial strategy, and to ensure that the Bookstore is profitable while still being true to the ethos of the Institute of Contemporary Arts.  

This is a permanent full time position but we are open to hearing from candidates looking to work four days a week. Flexibility is a must to work evenings and weekends. 

The salary for this role is c.£30,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience.
